Buckeye Pho

We hit up Buckeye Pho this week. It was amazing. We couldn’t remember ever having eaten there together though we both walked in pretty familiar with the restaurant.

It is one of my favorite places in the city to pick up Pho or Bahn Mi sandwiches. With that being the case I switched up my regular order and asked for Crepes with Pork and Scott got the Beef Stew. The crepes are made with rice/tapioca flour and filled with seasoned ground pork and topped with chopped vegetables. It was delightful.

The lunchmeat pork slices are full of flavor. Add your personal amount of Oyster Sauce, Sriracha and Fish Sauce. All good choices.

Also, I’m a fan of the Salt and Pepper Calamari.

This is really a 5 STAR restaurant. If you have any reason to be up on Bethel and like the flavors of Pho-a rich pork broth with rice noodles and your choice of protein and then fresh bean sprouts, cilantro, basil, jalapenos, and lemon to add in (along with the squeezy condiments on every table) try Buckeye Pho.
