I had reason to go eat solo and thought it’s been a long time since I’ve had Ramen in Columbus. A quick google search gave me Meshikou in my neck of the woods, so there I went.
the service was quick and the sound track suited me with 80’s pop. The menu had a nice selection of beer and drinks. If I were not alone I would have tried many of the starters but as it was only me I got one bowl of ramen.
The Meshikou Black
It was so good. The broth was silky, the noodles firm, the egg soft, and loaded with roasted garlicky flavor. Oh and the pork belly was melty good. I mean it’s just one dish, but I’m going to say go.
I forget sometimes how robust Bethel Road is with eateries. I might ask Scott about systematically going to each one as we do our eat togethers. Stay tuned to find out.
